We started our official roll-out today of Sophos Endpoint Security to our entire staff.  We actually started two weeks ago with our Operations department.  After testing to ensure that Sophos didn’t blow anything up, we began the actual push today.  Overall, I have been impressed with how easily Sophos installs, even automatically removing the existing Symantec 10 client and Liveupdate on each machine.  The enterprise console is straightforward, and integrates very well with Active Directory.  The console was able to correctly determine my AD layout and synchronize with the computers OU that I specified (including subfolders)

I had some initial issues with my configuration, so I picked up the phone and called their support line.  Literally two minutes after dialing the number, I was on the phone with a real live person who actually knew what he was doing.  He pointed out the problem, and I was off the phone five minutes later.  Never had that type of response from Symantec!  So, day two of the install is tomorrow which will install to all of the remaining laptops.  Hopefully we will have all of the machines done and then can start digging into the scan results and reporting.
